HR Shared Services Specialist (Dayforce)

Work from Home | Full-Time | Australian Client
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Shared Services Specialist with hands-on Dayforce experience to support our Australian client. This role will work closely with the client's Dayforce Administrator on day-to-day HR systems support, documentation, compliance, and administrative tasks.
This is not an implementation role. We are looking for someone with practical Dayforce experience who can assist with system administration, testing, reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Dayforce Administration & Support
- Assist with Dayforce HR module configuration and maintenance
- Support testing and validation of system updates and configuration changes
- Monitor, log, and track Dayforce support cases
- Assist with release testing and regression testing activities
- Support employee data management and workflow administration
Documentation & Compliance
- Create and maintain compliance guides, process documents, and standard operating procedures
- Develop and update user guides and training materials for Dayforce users
- Document system changes, configuration updates, and business processes
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance-related documentation
Administrative Support
- Manage task lists and follow up on outstanding actions
- Organize and maintain documentation repositories and version control
- Prepare meeting notes, reports, and internal communications
- Assist with scheduling and general administrative tasks
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience using Dayforce (Ceridian)
- Experience working with HRIS, Shared Services, Payroll, or HR Operations environments
- Working knowledge of Dayforce HR modules, including:
- Employee Records
- Organizational Structures
- Positions Management
- Workflows
- Strong documentation and process-writing skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with international stakeholders
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Dayforce Payroll, Workforce Management (WFM), Recruiting, or Benefits modules
- Experience using Dayforce Report Designer
- Experience creating user guides, training materials, or system documentation
- Exposure to Australian HR, payroll, or compliance processes
- Ceridian or Dayforce certifications
- Basic SQL or data analysis skills
