Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Developer & Data Automation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions, data models, and system integrations across Windows and Linux environments.

This role focuses on improving operational efficiency through PowerShell scripting, advanced Excel modelling, database development, and system integration. The ideal candidate is highly technical, analytical, and capable of turning business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational and reporting processes
• Build and enhance advanced Excel models using Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA where required
• Develop, manage, and optimise databases, including data structures, queries, and performance tuning
• Integrate data across multiple systems and platforms to support reporting and business insights
• Support and maintain Linux / Ubuntu environments, including scripting and basic system administration
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data workflows, scripts, and system integrations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Document processes, scripts, system configurations, and technical solutions clearly and accurately

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modelling and automation tools
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, data structures, and query optimisation
• Working knowledge of Linux / Ubuntu systems
• Experience with system integration, APIs, or data pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously
