Job Summary 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior CAD Draftsperson to support the updating, management, and maintenance of CAD drawings in line with client requirements, project standards, and ongoing design changes. 

This role works closely with Project Managers and Project Administrators to ensure all drawings are accurate, up to date, and delivered within required timelines. It is ideal for someone starting their CAD drafting career and looking to develop their technical skills in a structured, team-based environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Update CAD drawings with client-specific icons, title blocks, and project naming conventions 

• Revise existing CAD drawings to reflect design variations and project changes throughout the project lifecycle 

• Work closely with Project Managers and Project Administrators to ensure drawings are updated accurately and on time 

• Prioritise drawing updates based on submission deadlines and project urgency 

• Maintain and update drafting documentation, standards, and project requirements 

• Stay up to date with CAD drafting practices and contribute ideas for process improvements 

• Perform other related duties as assigned 

Requirements 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software 

• Basic understanding of construction and architectural drafting principles 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

• Good time management and organisational skills 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 

• Ability to work well in a team environment 

• Willingness to learn and develop CAD skills 

Nice to Have 

• Experience working with Australian clients or project environments is an advantage  

• BPO experience preferred  

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
