The primary purpose of the CAD Operator is to carry out drafting work and nesting of program files to be sent to manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

CAD Operator

• Take existing part drawings in Radan Software, and alter them to suit parts need in line with quotations from sales team.
• Creation of Turret Punch programs (Nests) and other shop drawings and mockup designs as required.
• Create new parts needed from product design drawings in Radan.
• Support product development team to create detailed 3D design drawings in Designer.
• To regard & adhere to client's standards of language, conduct and attitude in all dealing with client's team members.

Teamwork

• Effective & efficient relaying of relevant information to colleagues &/or supervisor.
• Actively participate in any/all continuous improvement activities.
• Attendance to team meeting.
• Share experience, knowledge and best practice with colleagues.

OH&S

• Apply the principles of OH & S in the workplace at all times.
• Report any safety incidents immediately to the manager.
• Apply good housekeeping principles at work stations at all times.
• Ensure office at all times is safe and organized.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or any related course
• Must have at least 5 -10 years of related experience
• Experience in the manufacturing or building industry is highly desirable

Must have:

• Knowledgeable in Radan CAD 2D program, Designer 3D, Syspro, Saleforce, and Microsoft Office
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving capability required
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Understanding of OH&S requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously
• Demonstrated prioritising and organisational skills
• A valid PH passport
• Willing to travel
